If you are wondering about joining me at Successful Homeschooling Made Easy I might be able to help you to decide by telling you a bit more about how the course works.
When you join you will get your first email within an hour or two of joining. Sometimes, it’s just a few minutes, and sometimes it takes a bit longer.
The first email will include a link to a PDF. The PDF contains your first lesson. In that lesson I will explain in detail how the course works and then I will help you to start a simple timetable that we build on together for the first eight weeks.
Working this way means that you can start homeschooling immediately. Today. Straight away. And by the end of the course I promise that:
- You’ll know how to homeschool your child, whether a pre-schooler or highschooler.
- You’ll be able to homeschool a group of children of different ages.
- You’ll be able to make good choices of what will suit your children and family when choosing curriculum and books.
- You’ll know how to sidestep homeschool stress and homeschool burnout.
- You’ll know to how homeschool successfully and happily.
I recommend that you go the old fashioned way and enjoy the course away from your screen. You can do this if you:
- Use a binder or a folder to keep your lessons in.
- Print your lessons and set aside a quiet time each week for your course reading and work.
- Make notes in your course notes as you read.
- Make it a special time for yourself.
This is a course to enjoy as you develop your knowledge of home teaching and learning, and to expand your parenting and teaching skills.
If you really want to homeschool, then you can. Absolutely, you can. There is not the slightest doubt in my mind that you can succeed in homeschooling if you want to.
And there’s a bonus to this adventure – as time goes on, you will find that you yourself will learn and become educated on so many subjects and topics, and you will develop a zest for learning too. It’s that love of learning that you will hopefully pass on to your children.
I’ve a word of warning for you too. You will also find that you will be constantly bombarded with interesting and good curriculum, books and equipment, and it will be easy to become overwhelmed and burned out.
This course will help to ‘fireproof’ you against those things and to help you discover and apply the way that will best suit you and your family.
Life is more than workbooks, exams, ‘to-do’ lists, smart phones and screens. Homeschooling, and this course in particular, will help you notice those precious moments, attitudes and discoveries.
